This is my first blog. wanted to write a blog from long long time. But today (Date: 1st November 2008, place: My apartment in Ludwigsburg, Stuttgart, Germany) I made it.
I finally laid my hands on the keyboard to write this.
I thank god for making this happen.
Most of them say Sweet November. True in my case.
:) I am very happy on this day !
well, while writing this, nothing comes to a stand still...Because in reality everything moves on...:)
But now there is a thought running in my mind as to what should I blog on.
But As I write on, I hope I will get an answer to it.
Time has given an answer for almost everything in my life.
First of all I would like to introduce myself...
"Avinash Maxim D'souza" is my full name. My friends call me "Avi" and some people in office call me "Max". Age 26. I was born and brought up in India. I don't have any siblings.
Currently I am living in Stuttgart, Germany. I have come here for work from BOSCH, Bangalore, India.
I had also this interest of learning guitar from long time... I bought myself a guitar few days back. It is a Yamaha FG series. I don't know how to play, learning to play.
After writing all the above lines, I am totally confused as to what to write in a blog. But as time progresses I will know even that.
Well as the title says "A few quiet days..."
Before I would like you to see this picture...
I would like to put this in a different way... Days will be quiet when the person is alone. So when the person is alone, there are lot of thoughts running in his/her mind. well it is good if everyone gets a time off, to think about himself or about others.
Being alone doesn't mean that the person is in sorrow.
Here I don't say to live alone all your life or something...I would say that sometimes give yourself a little time. So that you can have time to think back on your decisions in life and to decide what you really want in your life or what you want to be in this life. I mean, to decide the "PURPOSE" in your life.
Just ask yourself a simple question.... why am I here on this earth?
Just think over it...

though i am not an avid writter, i could suggest a few topics for you to write on :
1. Your Yamaha guitar
2. Reason for getting into blogging! (now that would be of more interest to me :p)
Also I noticed that you mentioned lonely there! Not that I want to start off a debate or anything, but i feel loneliness has been mis interpreted here. Dont you think?
Or rather, wrong attributes of life have been tied to loneliness.
Coz you dont have to be a single child to be lonely, and you dont have to be lonely coz you are a single child!

I agree with you when you say everyone needs the time to be with himself/herself, thats when (i think)you shut out the external world and think of everything from your perpective alone and not get influenced by anyone/anything else..this time also helps us to take stock of what is happening in your own life and make some important decisions.
And this time-alone need not be interpreted as 'loneliness':)
and i think vishak read too much into your introduction as the "only child":).. but yeah, even i want to know the reason for you getting into blogging at this time of your life ;),
